This is such a great set for beginners, which is what I am! It comes with a wide variety of colors and all the supplies you need (except paper). I love that it includes a labeled swatch paper, where the labeled boxes match the organization of the paints in the container. The paints seem to blend well and have consistent color. There's a pretty wide variety of brushes, which surprised me! This isn't a tiny paint set but is small enough to be portable and I like that everything fits in the tin (though it does require a little finagling). The plastic side that has the wells in it can be removed for cleaning, though since it's relatively flimsy, I'm not sure how durable it is.Overall, I think this set is a fantastic starter set for the current price of around $20 - it's a great value.
Ok 4.5/5 because I really really love the colors it comes with. They dissolve super easy and the brush 5 holds water very well for being a cheap brush is very nice. I had fun using it. The frustration was trying to put that brush back in place. Wow super hard. Makes not want to get it back out.I also used the detail brush 000. It worked really well, light and right size. Very easy to use.
This set of 50 watercolor paints is a great pick for beginners. It has a solid selection of colors that gives you plenty to experiment with. The built-in palette is super handy. It also includes a couple of fine detail brushes, which are great for small areas and finishing touches. Everything comes neatly packed in a sturdy tin travel case. There’s even a swatch card included so you can see how each color looks on paper. The only downside is the greens selection. It could use more variety. As it is, you might find yourself mixing more than you'd like. That said, this set makes a great gift for a new or young painter. It’s affordable, practical, and inspiring right out of the box. A solid value overall.
I was expecting some cheap set of watercolors... to be honest, I've never owned a nice one. It's always been what came with the book, or what was on sale in the dollar bin. I was never good at it, but my daughter has taken a real interest in the hobby. She's probably done 10-15 small canvases and they continue to get better, so I figured why not. But I opened this set up and was blown away... Professional packaging? Metal holder with compartments? Extra brushes? I didn't even know there was more than one water color brush in existence!Seriously, delightful set and great for travel or a day outside. You can squeeze one of the extra brushes into the case diagonally, but it would be nice if it could hold them all. But really a minor nit, highly recommend for a quality portable set. The colors are also nice and vibrant, my photo doesn't do it justice.
This set comes with 50 watercolors, a paintbrush, sponge, and brush that you can fill with water all packaged in a sturdy, neat travel tin palette. It also comes with more watercolor brushes and of course, a swatch card. The palette has all you need to watercolor on the go. I really like how it has little mixing trays. The watercolors are a mix of opaqueness and there's a great range of colors for the budding artist. They all mixed smoothly and went on paper great too. The included brushes work surprisingly well!I'm not new to watercolors, but I do like occasionally getting these little sets for the tins to make my own palettes.Overall, this is a wonderful set and a good value for the price.
Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loved it and it was a good kit for beginners and easy to use.
Got this for a Christmas present and they loved it. It comes with so much stuff to make all sorts of pottery. Perfect for starters.
Fun gift for date night or girls night
Such a fun activity to do with yourself or friends definitely great for the price
This is a great gift idea. It comes with four generous pouches of air dry clay. It is easy to work with and comes with instructions. There is also a selection of paint to paint your project once dried. This is a really nice beginner or even seasoned pottery kit for the clay enthusiast.
This kit would make an excellent gift for a younger person or someone who is new to pottery. It has all of the stuff you need including paint, so it's a great way to get started. The air-dry aspect is great so you don't have to worry about finding a kiln to bake your projects after you make them.
This is such an easy, fun set to use for crafting. Overall impression: I'm glad I got it and would recommend to others. Thoughts as follows:Pros: has great instructions to make crafting your own pottery a breeze for any age. The set has a little bit of everything, making pottery art a blast. I wouldn't recommend this to younger kids as it takes a few days for the pottery items to air dry and that might not be the instant gratification most younger kids want to wait for.Cons: none. This would make a great gift.
